The Lords Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
[For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.]
  ~ Matthew 6:9-13

Kenny's Unending Prayer

This is a prayer I put together from bits and pieces found in my spiritual leanings.

Forgive us for our sins.
Forgive those that sin against us.
Protect us from evil, negativity, and temptation.
Help us to not do acts of evil, negativity, and temptation to others.

Give us the strength to do the right thing;
The knowledge to know what's right;
The ability to perform;
The patience to understand;
The power to get through this life;
And the energy from the divine source.

With every breathe we take help us breath in Your energy, love, and Holy Spirit;
So that we may use it to to vibrate higher spiritually;
Synchronize with Your kingdom;
And feel our higher intuitions easier and understand what they mean better.

With every breathe we take help us breath out Your energy, love, and Holy Spirit, amplified;
So that they may use it to vibrate higher spiritually;
Synchronize with Your kingdom;
And feel their higher intuitions easier and understand what they mean better.

Please be with all those past, present, future, alive, and dead.
Wash us with Your Holy Spirit;
Fill us with Your Holy Spirit;
And let Your Holy Spirit flow from us into the world;
So others will see Your glory and come to Your grace.

Take care of us and tend to our needs.
Help us to build Your kingdom.
In Your name we pray.
Thank You Father for all You do for us.
We love You so much.

Note: This is meant as a never ending prayer vision. So I do not end it traditionally with amen to symbolize that it does not end.

The Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

Prayer By Carmina Gadelica (1899)

Each morning and each evening let the peace of the Father be mine.
Each day and each night let the peace of the Son be mine.
Each dawn and each dusk let the peace of the Spirit be mine.
Let the blessing of the three in one be mine; both now and for ever.
Amen

Prayer By Betty Miller

Dear Father in Heaven, I love You so much. You have been so good to me. Thank You for Your mercy and goodness to me over the years. I have not deserved Your great patience with me, but I am thankful that You were there for me every time I fell down and every time I failed You. Thank You for picking me up and forgiving me and washing me clean so I could start again on that narrow path where my careless feet went astray. Help me to be merciful, like You, to those in my life who need Your mercy through me. Give me grace not only to forgive them, but to love them as You have loved me. I ask this in the name of Your precious son, Jesus.
Amen.

Prayer By June Dingwall

Gracious Father we pray for the trust of Abraham,
The compassion of Ruth,
The listening ear of Samuel,
The wisdom of Solomon,
The foresight of the prophets,
The good news of the gospels,
The witness of Paul,
But most of all the love of Jesus for everyone.
Help us to use these treasures today and every day to show others how to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Amen.

God's Wisdom Prayer

Oh Lord, please give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding today so I can think Your thoughts as You direct my words, hands, and feet.

Opening Prayer

Dear heavenly father,
Thank You for Your grace that You have granted us.
Thank You for letting us get together today in Your name.
Help us, Lord, open our hearts and minds to learn more about You.
Please show us Your will so that we may know what You would like us to learn today.
Please help us interpret and understand Your word.
Let us take what we learn from the bible and use it to build Your kingdom here on Earth as it is in heaven.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.

Bible Verses

The Whole Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
  ~ Ephesians 6:10-20 (ESV)

16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
  ~ John 3:16 (ESV)

13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.
  ~ Colossians 1:13 (ESV)

44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
  ~ Matthew 5:44-45 (NIV)

27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
  ~ Luke 6:27-28 (ESV)

30 Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.
  ~ Luke 6:30 (ESV)

17 Pray continually.
  ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV)

16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”
  ~ Ruth 1:16-17 (ESV)

13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
  ~ Philippians 3:13-14 (ESV)

39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
  ~ Romans 8:39 (ESV)

3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
  ~ 1 Peter 3:3-4 (NIV)

14 Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
  ~ Psalm 34:14 (ESV)

29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.
  ~ Matthew 5:29-30 (ESV)

  ~ Genisis 1:30 (ESV)

20 Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats. 21 It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble.
  ~ Romans 14:20-21 (ESV)

6 Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
  ~ Romans 14:6 (NIV)

8 Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.
  ~ Exodus 20:8-10 (NIV)

3 He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck; he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers pig’s blood; he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol. These have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations;
  ~ Isaiah 66:3 (ESV)

18 I said in my heart with regard to the children of man that God is testing them that they may see that they themselves are but beasts. 19 For what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts is the same; as one dies, so dies the other.
